The House in Brussels

It is in a house with modernist architecture from the 1920s, not far from Avenue Louise in Brussels, that the Thalie Foundation has imagined this place dedicated to creation. Equipped with a collection of contemporary art, it hosts an artists’ residence and a multidisciplinary program around visual and culinary arts, performance and literature.
An exclusive place in the heart of the art gallery district and close to the ixelles ponds.

Built in 1924 by the architect Jean Hendrickx, the house has been completely renovated by the duo Vanden Eeckhoudt – Creyf architects, in a contemporary style, while keeping its modernist spirit. In addition to the exhibition and work spaces, it has a library, four bedrooms and a large kitchen-dining room-terrace.
