On the occasion of the 18th edition of the Nuit Blanche and at the invitation of the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie, Thanks for Nothing presents an artistic, supportive and participatory project that brings art and the environment together.
The Cité des sciences et de l’industrie will welcome installations by Michelangelo Pistoletto and Tomás Saraceno all night long, as well as performances and films by artists focusing on environmental issues. Thanks for Nothing has devised a committed program that aims to raise awareness of ecological issues through art.
The Fondation Thalie in Brussels proposes, through its residencies and public programming throughout the year, to address the issues of our societies through art. The Fondation Thalie is pleased to be include in the Thanks for Nothing event.

Projection of artists’ films addressing environmental issues – Hall de la cité
With Hicham Berrada, Alex Cecchetti (guest artist at the Foundation in 2017), Ali Cherri (guest artist at the Foundation in 2018), Laurent Grasso, Louise Hervé and Chloé Maillet (Artists welcomed in residence at the Foundation in 2017 and 2018), Kapwani Kiwanga, Angelika Markul (guest artist at the Foundation in 2018), Ariane Michel and Laure Prouvost.
In the Planetarium of the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie in Paris, Thanks for Nothing gives carte blanche to the writer Boris Bergmann (writer hosted in residence at the Foundation in 2019) who will present for the first time his performance Grain de ciel in dialogue with a projection of scientific films.
