Amour Vivant Biennial for sustainable design

Amour Vivant, the first cultural ecology biennial in France, initiated by Hélène Aguilar (podcast Où est le Beau?), presents the new guard of sustainable design and invites Nathalie Guiot and designer Anna Saint-Pierre.

A doctoral student at SACRe, Anna Saint-Pierre works on the memory of places through the collection and recycling of construction waste. She works on architectural projects to identify future resources and design second-life materials.
Between 2018 and 2021, her research was supported by the ANRT to be integrated into the projects of the SCAU architecture agency, and benefited from a research residency at the Manufacture de Sèvres laboratory. She was awarded the Grand Prix de la Création by the City of Paris in 2022, and has since completed a number of public art projects: Bis Repetita with Delphine Renault for a waste disposal site in Switzerland, Dépôt lapidaire for a crèche in Paris, Gaïette with Atelier Faber on the site of former mines in Hauts-de-France, and soon the 1% artistic component of the future Ateliers Médicis building in Clichy-sous-Bois Montfermeil.

Founded in 2021 by the Association pour un Design Soutenable (Association for Sustainable Design), Amour Vivant is a vibrant tribute to living things, which it is up to us to take care of. With the success of Frugal, the first edition of which attracted over 17,000 visitors in September 2021, the Association is becoming the benchmark in France for the revelation of virtuous and sustainable creative practices in the field of design, without eternal pollutants.
